Shingrix Program Update

From November 1^st 2023, older Australians will have access to the newest Shingles vaccine ‘Shingrix’ thanks to the Australian Government!

It will now be part of the National Immunisation Program, providing free Shingrix vaccines for:

Everyone aged 65 years and over,
First Nations people aged 50 years and over,
Immunocompromised people aged 18 years and over at high risk of herpes zoster infection.

We will endeavour to contact patients once we have the vaccine in stock.

The Australian Government announced this expansion to the program on 8^th October 2023, which varies from the information given to us in August 2023.
