Glen Iris Medical Group is pleased to now offer an infusion service for current and new patients requiring Iron (Ferinject®, Monofer®) or Zoledrenic Acid (Aclasta®, Zometa®) Infusions.
Infusions are performed in our treatment room by our trained Practice Nurses, overseen by a GP.
Current GIMG Patients:
Prior to booking an infusion, you are required to have a consultation with your doctor to discuss the procedure, whether or not it is suitable for your individual circumstances and to get a prescription for the medicine used in the infusion.
New Patients:
Discuss your suitability for an infusion with your usual doctor or specialist. They will need to complete our Infusion Service Referral Form and send it to us before we can schedule an infusion appointment for you. Your usual doctor or specialist will also provide you with the prescription.
