Special interests: women’s health and paediatrics

Dr Jane Healy graduated from University of Tasmania in 2001 and obtained her fellowship in RACGP in 2008. She worked in both general practice and in the education of medical students in Tasmania before moving to Melbourne and joining GIMG in 2009. Jane became a partner of the practice in 2014.

Jane enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a special interest in paediatrics, adolescent health and women’s health. She works with local schools, providing information sessions and open discussion for students around common health topics.

Jane has three children and a very big dog named Horace. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking (especially trying to cook gluten-free cakes!), bushwalking and walks with Horace.
