TGA provisionally approves Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds
Dear Patients, we wish to advise that the TGA/ATAGI has approved Pfizer for children 5-11 year olds.
We will not be taking bookings until we have the vaccine.
Rapid Antigen Tests
RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS
For patients with respiratory symptoms or feeling generally unwell, we strongly recommend they have a PCR test at one of the many testing sites.
Updated Opening Hours
From the 31st October 2021 Glen Iris Medical Group will no longer be open on Sundays.

Fee Increase
Dear Patients,
We wish to advise from the 1st of November there will be a small fee increase at Glen Iris Medical Group.
Masks for Young Patients: 8-12 Year Olds
Due to current transmission levels we will be asking our young patients aged 8-12 years old to wear a mask to see their doctor.
Appointments available for 2nd dose Pfizer at 3 weeks
As of Monday 4th October the Victorian Department of Health will reduce the interval for Pfizer doses to 3 weeks.

Dear Patients,
We are delighted that so many people want to get vaccinated. The rollout of Pfizer into General Practice is happening slowly and as Government supply increases.
AstraZeneca Second Dose Update
The Victorian Department of Health has reviewed the timing of the second AstraZeneca dose.
You will now be able to get your second AstraZeneca dose at Victorian vaccination centres or GP clinics six weeks after your first dose.

Covid-19 Testing for Alpine Travel – Melbourne Pathology
If your travelling to the snow it is recommended that all visitors have a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departing Melbourne and receive a negative test (children under 12 years not included) before arriving in the Alpine region.
