Booster Shots Now Available – Update 3.2.22
Booster Shots are now available 💉 – update as of 3rd February 2022. We currently have availability most weeks on a Tuesday or Thursday morning.
Vaccination after testing positive for COVID-19
Patients who have tested positive to COVID-19 can be vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine three months after infection.
A booster vaccination is still recommended even if a patient has had COVID-19 and a two-dose primary vaccine course.

Pfizer 5-11 Yr Olds Vaccine – Book Now
Glen Iris Medical Group is now offering existing patients 5-11 Years Pfizer Vaccinations with appointments from the 2nd February 2022.
Our clinics will be held on Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Bookings are essential so please book online.
Testing Changes as of 7th January 2022
From the 7th January patients will need to report their positive result to the Department of health via a webform or the hotline 1800 675 398 so we can make sure they have the support they need.

TGA provisionally approves Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds
Dear Patients, we wish to advise that the TGA/ATAGI has approved Pfizer for children 5-11 year olds.
We will not be taking bookings until we have the vaccine.

For patients with respiratory symptoms or feeling generally unwell, we strongly recommend they have a PCR test at one of the many testing sites.

Fee Increase
Dear Patients,
We wish to advise from the 1st of November there will be a small fee increase at Glen Iris Medical Group.
Masks for Young Patients: 8-12 Year Olds
Due to current transmission levels we will be asking our young patients aged 8-12 years old to wear a mask to see their doctor.
Appointments available for 2nd dose Pfizer at 3 weeks
As of Monday 4th October the Victorian Department of Health will reduce the interval for Pfizer doses to 3 weeks.

AstraZeneca Second Dose Update
The Victorian Department of Health has reviewed the timing of the second AstraZeneca dose.
You will now be able to get your second AstraZeneca dose at Victorian vaccination centres or GP clinics six weeks after your first dose.
